Pilates exercise can help to address all of these imbalances by working to specifically target certain muscle groups therefore building strength, helping to manage and alleviate these issues. Working 1:1, 2:1 or in a small group helps to individually further progress you so as you are able to work more specifically to connect with the exercises further enhancing the Pilates principles of: concentration, control, centering, flow, precision and breathing. Exercises can be done in standing, seated, on the mat, the Reformer or the Combo Chair and by adding the use of small equipment the exercises can be intensified.
