CLASS INFORMATION
All classes are small and friendly with a maximum of 12 for more individual attention and 'hands on' adjustments.

You will be required to bring your own mat and any small equipment required for a class (you will be notified in advance of what you will need).

We regularly use small equipment such as; Small Hand Weights/Dumbbells/Weighted balls, 7"Soft ball, x2 Prickle Balls, Resistance Bands, Foam Roller and the Pilates circle (I can recommend other substitutions for this equipment if you do not have any of these items. I do also have some spare, small equipment for borrowing in class sessions and can also advise where to purchase if required).

* MAT PILATES CLASS - A mat, Pilates class designed to improve POSTURAL ALIGNMENT, CORE STRENGTH, MOBILITY, STABILITY AND BALANCE. Different level modifications will be given appropriate to ability.

* OLDER ADULT CLASS - A mat, Pilates based exercise class designed to improve POSTURAL ALIGNMENT, CORE STRENGTH, MOBILITY, STABILITY AND BALANCE. 
Involves a mix of standing and laying on a mat (in all positions). The ability to transfer to the floor with or without the use of a chair is required.

* CHAIR BASED CLASS - A chair, Pilates based exercise class taught seated on a chair designed to improve POSTURAL ALIGNMNET, CORE STRENGTH, MOBILITY, STABILITY AND BALANCE. 
Suitable for those who find it difficult or do not have the ability to get down onto the floor to do exercise. We do however start the class for a standing warm up with the chair nearby for support if required (to encourage the functional ability to keep upright and walking).

All classes are run generally in x6 or sometimes x8 week blocks.

 

 

Payment options

Option 1: Pay for the whole block. Option 2: Pay for just the dates you can attend within the block. Option 3: Pay as you go (which is slighty more expensive)

*All new class blocks are booked and paid for prior to them commencing to secure your place.

If you choose 'pay as you go' please note - a class space is not guaranteed and you would need to check if a space is available prior to attending.

*If you have had no previous experience in Pilates - i would advise booking a 'one to one' session with me before commencing any group classes. This will teach and give you all the basic knowledge of the Pilates fundamentals enabling you to feel more confident in a class situation. Please contact me to arrange this...

An online monthly subscription to class recordings is available via Vimeo for MAT, OLDER ADULT and CHAIR BASED CLASSES.

This service is available to all new, existing and previously trained clients.
